Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park
Cowpen Bewley Woodland Park is a new area of woodland located on the edge of Billingham. The site was reclaimed from former brickworks, landfill and ex-agricultural land. This highly attractive park comprises large areas of woodland with over 300,000 trees planted in the 1990s. Today there is little sign of the site’s industrial past and instead it has become a real haven for wildlife. Free parking and a cafe is also available.
