A community garden can offer people a place to relax, a way to engage with nature, meet others and get active outdoors.
Work has finished on the Community Garden at the back of the Cafe in John Whitehead Park. This area is fully accessible with raised planters, fruit trees and outdoor space to hold events and activities throughout the year.
Could you spare a few hours a week?
Could you provide help and advice on how and when to grow?
If so, come along and join our gardening group, ‘Give it a Grow’.
