Pantry in the Park

On Monday 3^rd October 2022, Billingham Town Council, working in partnership with Stockton on Tees Food Power Network, launched a new food pantry in John Whitehead Park, Billingham.  This pantry is open every Monday (Tuesday’s when there is a bank holiday), 9.30am to 11am and is available to everyone in the community with no referral needed.

There are lots of food pantries being set up around the country to help soften the blow of high living costs, and create conditions for communities to grow and thrive together.  They also provide wraparound support services and social interaction for those who are isolated.

The Pantry in the Park offers ten non-perishable items, including toiletries for £2.00.   We also give away fresh fruit and vegetables, bread etc for free.

If you are able to make a donation of any kind, please contact the Town Council office.  We are able to collect donations.
