Billingham Show 7th & 8th September 2024

Turner’s Funfair was a hit, providing an array of rides and games that entertained visitors of all ages. Children and adults alike revelled in the joy of the fair, adding a lively atmosphere to the event.

One of the Show’s highlights was the popular Horticultural Show, which showcased stunning displays of flowers and vegetables, demonstrating the gardening prowess of local enthusiasts.

For those looking to shop, a selection of local traders offered a diverse range of goods, from handmade crafts, and pet accessories to gourmet food items, trinket boxes and jewellery.  The bustling market atmosphere provided a perfect opportunity for attendees to support local artisans and find unique treasures.

The weekend was packed with activities, including a craft show, a strongman and strongwoman competition, and a fun dog show that delighted pet lovers.  The dog flyball event attracted both competitors and spectators, showcasing the agility and skills of our four-legged friends.  A dedicated children’s corner kept the little ones entertained with a variety of engaging activities such as archery, a sand pit, arts and crafts, face painting and fruit kebabs.

The Civic Marquee served as a hub for local community groups and organisations, offering valuable information about services and activities available in the area.

Entertainment was provided by Singing Sue’s Vocal Academy, who showcased talented vocalists, and the energetic group Tapshoes and Tutus, who dynamic dance performances captivated audiences on the Saturday.

Overall, the Billingham Show 2024 was a resounding success, bringing together families and friends for a weekend filled with fun, creativity and community spirit.
