Colin Leckonby - North Ward

I have lived in Billingham since 1967 after living in New Zealand for 3 years.  I had a career in Instrumentation in both the UK and abroad until retirement in 2000. I have a Higher National Certificate in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a degree in Mathematics gained from the Open University.

I represented the Billingham North Ward on Stockton Borough Council for 17 years.  During this service I held a term as Mayor of Stockton and I am now a Honorary Alderman.

My hobby is cycling with Stockton Wheelers Cycling Club where I am the Club President and Welfare Officer.
