Community Gift 2024!
Help spread some Christmas cheer by donating items for the Community Gift! Donated gifts will be wrapped and sent to vulnerable families and individuals ready for Christmas in Stockton on Tees.
If you wish to donate, simply drop your donation in the box provided at community venues throughout November.
What to donate:
- toiletries (sets) and sanitary items
- shampoo and conditioner
- lip balm
- hand cream
- socks and slippers
- hats, scarves and gloves
- hairbrushes and accessories
- toothbrush and toothpaste
- chocolates, biscuits and sweets
- other gifts

Community Star Awards 2024
A great time was had celebrating this years Community Stars at the third annual awards ceremony. Nineteen local residents from across the borough of Stockton on Tees were recognised for the difference they make. From keeping communities clean and tidy to volunteering at breakfast clubs, it was very humbling to give these individuals their well deserved awards.
Huge congratulations to all the winners!

The Community Gift is back for 2023!!
The Community Engagement Team and Stockton on Tees Community Partnerships are working together this Christmas to help spread some festive cheer. The Community Gift is an opportunity for you to donate items in support of vulnerable people and families across the Borugh.

- Alarm clocks & other gifts
- Toothpaste & toothbrush

During November, you can donate at:
- Municiple Buildings
- Bayheath House
- 16 Church Road
- Dunedin House
- Resdiscover Stockton Shop (134b High Street)
- Billingham Community Centre (Learning & Skills)
- Participating Schools until 5th December
- Your local library
Donation Drop-Ins!
As part of The Community Gift, throughout November, pop-up sessions will be held in community venues in the Borough.
Where to come along to donate and get crafty:
- Thursday 23rd November, 10am to 3pm at Stockton Wellbeing Over 50’s event at Thornaby Pavillion
- Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd December – the Community Partnership cabin at Stockton Sparkles Market
- Yarm Methodist Church – Date and time to be confirmed
Community Coronation Exhibition!
The Community Partnerships have been very busy installing a Community Coronation exhibition at Preston Hall Museum.
The exhibition explores Coronations gone by, honours those in our communities and celebrates the most recent Coronation with street parties and the Big Lunch at Stockton High Street.
You can view this exhibition from Saturday 21st October to 15th November with the Temp Gallery.
Pop along to create a birthday card for HM The King’s 75th birthday, take a seat in the HM The King’s throne or come to share your memories of the Coronation by filling in one of the postcards.
